Hilton Long Island Huntington INDIAN WEDDING
Indian weddings are a vibrant blend of customs, ceremonies, and multi-day celebrations that bring families, friends, and well-wishers together. As an Indian wedding photographer, I was delighted to photograph a beautiful couple’s wedding at the Hilton Long Island Huntington.
The festivities began with the Mehendi, where the bride’s hands and feet were adorned with intricate henna designs amid laughter, music, and dancing. At the Sangeet that followed, family and friends performed dances and skits to celebrate the couple.
The wedding day opened with the Baraat, a joyful procession in which the groom arrived on horseback, surrounded by dancing family and friends.
The ceremony was held in the hotel’s beautifully decorated ballroom. The mandap, dressed in flowers, crystals, and soft fabrics, created an elegant setting for the vows. The bride and groom looked radiant, and their love was unmistakable as they exchanged garlands and spoke their promises to each other.
Throughout the ceremony, I focused on everything from portraits of the couple to the fine details of the mandap, and I made sure to capture the joy and emotion on the faces of the relatives and friends watching.
Afterward, the newlyweds and their guests moved to the reception, which featured delicious food, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of dancing. With glowing lighting and stylish décor, the ballroom became a warm and inviting party space.
The couple’s grand entrance and first dance were highlights, and the dance floor came alive as guests danced to Bollywood and Hollywood hits.
Indian weddings are celebrations of culture, family, and love, with days of festivities that each feel more memorable than the last. This couple’s wedding at the Hilton Long Island Huntington was full of joy and love, and it was a privilege to document the moments that made their day so special, creating memories they and their families will treasure forever.
